Silicone oil

Silicon oil is mainly used as lubricant. It is very good electric insulator and also is non-flammable. Due to low surface tension, silicon oil can act as an anti-foaming agent and can be employed in industrial applications such as fermentation and distillation where huge amount of foam is problematic.
